I am trying to solve a system of linear quations by the substitution method.

6x - 4y = 3
3x - 2y = 9
I need to see how you worked the solution so that I can make sure that I am doing it right and can do the rest of the problems on my own.

Substitution method :

The equations of linear system are image.

Solve the equation 2: image for y, since the y has a coefficient of - 2.

Subtract 3x from each side.

Divide each side by negative 2.

Substitute the value of image in the equation 1: imageand solve for x.

The above statement is false.so,the system of equations has no solution.
