  • a + b + c + d + e = 1

16a + 8b + 4c + 2d + e = 4

81a + 27b + 9c + 3d + e = 10

256a + 64b + 16c + 4d + e = 28

625a + 125b + 25c + 5d + e = 82.

 

  • Solve the system for the five unknowns.

 

  • a = 5/8

b = -19/4

c = 115/8

d = -65/4

e = 7.
