Calculating the number of combinations?

A true-false test contains 19 questions. In how many different ways can the 19-question test be answered?

How would I calculate this?

In a true - false test question, there are 2 ways to answer. One is true and the other is false.

There are 19 such questions to be answered.

So number of ways to answer 19 questions = 2 * 2* 2 * 2 * 2 * ....... 19 times

= 219

= 524288 ways.

Therefore the19-question test can be answered in 524288 different ways.
