The median group is " 22 - 28 " .

We need to estimate a single median value use the formula.

Where L is lower class boundary of the group containing the median.

N is the total number of data.

image  is cumulative frequency of the groups before the median group.

image is the frequency of the median group.

The formula to calculate mean deviation from medianimage

= 61.8/50

= 1.236

Mean deviation from median = 1.236.
