Q1) Two particles move through space in such a way that at time t they are travelling in directions (t−8,0−t,10) and (1,3,1−t). 
At what time are their directions parallel? 


Q2) A and B are the points in space with position vectors a=(2,−1,0) and b=(4,−3,1). 
Find the position vectors of the points P and Q which divide the line segment AB in the ratios 1 : 2 and 2 : 1 respectively.

Two nonzero vectors u and v are parallel if there is some scalar c such that u = cv.

The travelling directions are image.
