Q1) Use the quotient rule to find the derivative of the following

a) y = (x+3)/(x-3)

b) y = x/(3x+4)

c) y = x/(x^2 - 4)

 

Q2) Find the equation of the tangent line to the curve at the given point

a) y = x^4 + 5x^2 - 2x   at  (1,4)

b) y = 6x / (x+1)    at  (1,3)
