Find the rectangular coordinates of the point with the polar coordinates (1, 1 divided by 2 pi).

Polar coordinates (1,(1/2)pi)

Calculate the rectangular coordinates.

x =r cos θ

   = 1 cos ( pi/2)

   = 0

y =r sin θ

   = 1 sin( pi/2)

   = 1

Therefore, the rectangular coordinates are (0,1).
