Let f(x) be the function given by the graph below.

Evaluate each of the limits below.

(a). image

The limit as x approaches 3 from the left then f(x) approaches to 1 . Therefore, image

 

(b). image

The limit as x approaches 3 from the right then f(x) approaches to 3. Therefore, image.
