Best answer

(b).ii.

The eye point at 2n is (xe, ye, ze) = 2(1, -3, 4) = (2, -6, 8).

The image point of the point (13, -1, -4) onto the view-plane in perspective projection toward the eye at 2n = (x - xe, y - ye, z - ze).

= [13 - 2, -1 - (-6), (-4) - (8)]

= [11, 5, -12]

2n - a

{2, -6, 8} - {13, -1, -4} = {-11, -5, 12}

line x = {13, -1, -4} + t{-11, -5, 12}

x = -11t+13

y = -5t -1

z = 12t -4

normal equation: x - 3y +4z = 26

-11t +13 +15t +3 +48t -16 = 26

52t +0 = 26

t = 1/2

x  = -11/2 + 26/2 = 15/2

y = -5/2 - 1 = -7/2

z = 12/2 - 4 = 2

Might want to check this...
