Initial velocity,u=100 m/s

Acceleration due to gravity,g=9.81 m/s^2

Maximum height,H=u^2/2g

Substitute 100 m/s for u and 9.81 m/s^2 for g in above equation

H=100^2/2*9.81

   =508.683 m

Maximum height, is 508.683 m
