The function is -7x² + 2x + 2 = 0.

Compare the equation -7x² + 2x + 2 = 0 with general form of quadratic equation ax² + bx + c = 0.

a = -7, b = 2 and c = 2.

Substitute a = -7, b = 2 and c = 2 in the quadratic formula : image.
