The Function is x + ln(x²).

Let y = x + ln(x²)

To find the slope of the tangent, We differentiate the above.

y' = 1 + (1/x²)*2x

y' = 1 + (2/x)

Now Slope of the Line at x = 1 is

y' = 1 + (2/1)

y' = 3.

Therefore slope of the line tangent x + ln(x²) is m = 3.
