A L be the Function has an x (-2,0) and y (0,4)

The Line Equation is in the form of y = mx + b

The slope of the line equation is m = (y1 - y2)/(x1 - x2)

m = (0-4) / (-2 - 0)

m = -4 / -2

m = 2

Therefore line equation is y = 2x + b

Now point (0,4) passes through the line y = 2x + b.

4 = 0 + b

therefore b = 4

then line Equation is y = 2x + b

y = 2x + 4

-2x + y = 4.

Therefore the line equation having x (-2,0) and y (0,4)  is -2x + y = 4.

Option (D) is the correct answer.
