The functions are |2x-4| and y = 6.

Let us consider y = |2x-4|.

Now we need to find the vertices of the triangle

|2x-4| = 0 and |2x-4| = 6

If |2x-4| = 0 ⇒ 2x-4 = 0 ⇒ 2x = 4 ⇒ x = 2.

Therefore one of the vertex is (2,0).

If |2x-4| = 6

2x-4 = ±6

2x-4 = 6 and 2x-4 = -6

2x = 10 and 2x = -2

x = 5 and x = -1.

Therefore the other two vertex are (5,6) and (-1,6).

Graph

Plot the functions.

Plot the vertices of the triangle.

Label the vertices of the triangle as A,B and C.

Observe the graph, ΔABC denotes the triangle formed by y = |2x-4| and y = 6.
