How would I simplify these rational expressions?

A.( 4/x + 4) + (x/ x - 4)

I got stuck at x^2 + 8x - 16/ ( x - 4)(x + 4)

B. (3/x^2 - 25) - (1/x + 5)

I got stuck at -x^2 + 3x + 40/(x +5)(x^2 - 25)
