Step 1:

(a)

NaNO3 contains sodium ion Na+ and NO3-.

Na+ is a spectator and NO3- is the conjugate base of strong acid.

pH of the NaNO3 is equal to 7.

NaNO3 is neutral in nature.

Fe(NO3)2 contains Fe and NO3- ions.

Fe is acidic due to metallic nature and they are obtained from weak base.

NO3- is the conjugate base of strong acid.

pH of the Fe(NO3)2 is less than 7.

Fe(NO3)2 is acidic in nature.

Fe(NO3)2 is more acidic in nature than NaNO3.

Step 2:

(b)

KBr contains sodium ion K+ and Br-.

K+ is obtained from strong base.

Br- is the conjugate base of strong acid.

pH of the KBr is equal to 7.

KBr is neutral in nature.

KBrO contains sodium ion K+ and BrO-.

K+ is obtained from strong base.

BrO- is cation of strong base.

pH of the KBrO is greater than 7.

KBrO is basic in nature.

KBr is more acidic in nature than KBrO.

Step 3:

(c)

CH3NH3Cl contains CH3NH2Cl- and H+.

CH3NH2Cl- is obtained from weak acid.

pH of the CH3NH3Cl is less than 7.

CH3NH3Cl is weak acid.

BaCl2 contains sodium ion Br+ and Cl-.

Cl- is a conjuagte base of strong acid.

Br- is obtained strong base.

pH of the BaCl2 is equal to 7.

BaCl2 is neutral in nature.

CH3NH3Cl is more acidic in nature than BaCl2.

Step 4:

(d)

NH4NO2 is formed by NH4OH and HNO2.

HNO2 is a weak acid.

NH4OH is a weak base.

pH of the NH4NO2 is equal to 7.

NH4NO2 is neutral in nature.

NH4NO3 is acidic in nature.

NH4NO3 is formed by NH4OH and HNO3.

NH4OH is a weak base and HNO3 is a strong acid.

pH of the NH4NO3 is less than 7.

NH4NO3 is more acidic in nature than NH4NO2.

Solution:

(a) Fe(NO3)2 is more acidic in nature than NaNO3.

(b) KBr is more acidic in nature than KBrO.

(c) CH3NH3Cl is more acidic in nature than BaCl2.

(d) NH4NO3 is more acidic in nature than NH4NO2.
