Volume is the level at which something is heard or the amount of space a solid, liquid or gas occupies.
Example 1: Lab technicians working in laboratories measure liquids that need to be measured to exact amounts.
For some experiments, being off by a few milliliters could alter the result.
Example 2: A cook measures the ingredients while making a chocolate cake like measuring liquid ingredients like oil.
