By using chain rule we can find the derivative of (6x + 2)^2

=> d/dx ( (6x+2)^2 ) = 2(6x + 2) * d/dx(6x + 2)            [ Since d/dx(x^2) = 2x ]

                               = 2(6x+2) * 6                               [ d/dx(ax) = a ]

                               = 12(6x+2)

                               = 72x + 24

Therefore d/dx ( (6x+2)^2 )   = 72x + 24
