The functions are f(x) =2x-9 and g(x) =3+4x^2

fog (x)  =  f( g(x) )

            =  f( 3 + 4x^2 )                                        [ Since g(x) =3+4x^2 ]

            =  2( 3 + 4x^2 ) - 9                                  [ Since   f(x) =2x-9 ]

            =  6 + 8x^2 - 9

fog (x) =  8x^2 - 3

Substitute x = -1 in above composite function

fog (-1) =  8(-1)^2 - 3

            =  8 - 3

fog (-1) =  5.

Answer :

The value of fog (-1) is  5.
