Find the precision for a measurement of 14 meters. Explain its meaning.

 think this means how large an error can there be in the measurement. A measurement of 14 meters suggests the measurement is rounded to the nearest meter. Thus the maximum error is 0.5 meters. If the measurement was 14.0 meters, that would imply that the measurement was to the nearest tenth of a meter, so the maximum error would be 0.05 meters.
