23) s^2-12s+36 = 0

To solve factorize the quadratic equation.

      s^2-6s-6s+36 = 0

      s(s-6) -6(s-6) = 0

      (s-6)(s-6) = 0

      s = 6

     Solution s = 6

24) x^2-4/9 = 0

      x^2 = 4/9

     x^2 = 2^2/3^2

     x^2 = (2/3)^2

Cancel the squares to each side.

     x = 2/3

24) The equation x2 - (4/9) = 0

x2 = 4/9

Apply squre root on each side.

x = ± 2/3

Solutions are x = 2/3 and x = -2/3.
