find the derivative of f(x) = 2 cos x - 3 sin x

Given function f(x) = 2 cosx-3 sinx

Apply derivative to each side.

d/dx[f(x)] = d/dx[2 cosx-3 sinx]

= d/dx(2cosx)-d/dx(3sinx)

= -2sinx-3cosx
