Find the domain of a rational function.

Find the domain for the rational function f(x)=4x/(3x-12)

Given rational function f(x) = 4x/(3x-12)

Now to find the domain denominator is equals to 0.

3x-12 = 0

Add 12  to each side.

3x-12+12 = 0+12

3x = 12

Divide to each side by 3.

3x/3 = 12/3

x = 4

So the domain all the real numbers except 4.
