Matrix question? (Might be a little complicated)

0 votes
Right. So I'm given these 3 matrices:

A= { 3 5 -2 }             B=  { 8    -5   -4    -1 }               C= { 4 3  2 }

      { -4 6 7 }                   { 49  32   61   40 }                   { 7 0 -3 }

      { 1  2 0 }                    { 7    -1    4      4 }                     { 8 6  4  }

I have to find Matrix X so that AX=B. and Show the matrix set-up, or explain why it's impossible, if  it is.

Given matrices image.

And .

Here to find  X, no need to have the matrix C.

We have .

.

So, now find inverse matrix of A and multiply it with B.

.

Now cofactor matrix of A is

If , then

Therefore,

.

Now is

Now find .

Since image.

The matrix set up is

image

You can also check this answer by doing AX which is equal to B.

The matrix of X is .
