Write the prime factorization of each number.

2  = 1 * 2=21

30= 1 * 2 * 3 * 5=  21 * 31 * 51

45= 1 * 3 * 3 * 5 = 32 * 51

Multiply highest power of  each factor in the either numbers.

L.C.M =21 * 32 * 51

             = 2 * 9 * 5

          = 90

L.C.M of 2, 30 and 45 is 90.

Multiples of 30 = 30, 60, 90, 120, ...................

Multiples of 45 = 45, 90, 135, .............

The smallest of the common multiples is 90.
