Substitution method :

The system of equations are y = 2x + 3 and y = 3x + 10.

Substitute the value of y = 2x + 3 in the equation 2: y = 3x + 10 and solve for x.

2x + 3  = 3x + 10

2x - 3x  = 10 - 3

- x  = 7

x  = - 7.

Substitute the value of x = - 7 in the equation y = 2x + 3 to find the value of y.

y = 2(- 7) + 3

y = - 14 + 3

y = - 11.

The solution is x = - 7 and y = - 11.
