Cross multiplication.

4y - 4 = - 3x - 9

Add 4 to each side.

4y - 4 + 4  = - 3x - 9 + 4

4y = -3x - 5 ---> (1)

Divide each side by 4.

4y /4 = -3x /4 - 5/4

y  = -3x /4 - 5/4.

From equation (1) 4 = -3x  - 5

Add 3x  and 5 to each side.

4y  + 3x  + 5 = - 3x + 3x  - 5 + 5

3 + 4 + 5 = 0

Line equation in slope intercept form is y  = (-3/4)x - 5/4.

Line equation in point slope form is  image.

.Line equation in standard form is  3x  + 4y  + 5 = 0.
