The equation is x + y = 6 and the domain is {- 2, - 1, 0, 1, 2}.

The range of the equation is the set of all y - values which are satisfy the equation.

To find the range, solve the equation x + y = 6 for y ⟹ y = 6 - x.

If x = - 2 then y = 6 - x = 6 - (- 2) = 8.

If x = - 1 then y = 6 - x = 6 - (- 1) = 7.

If x = 0 then y = 6 - x = 6 - (0) = 6.

If x = 1 then y = 6 - x = 6 - (1) = 5.

If x = 2 then y = 6 - x = 6 - (2) = 4.

Range = {8, 7, 6, 5, 4}.
