How to find Speed of sound using Mass density and Youngs Modulus?

0 votes
beryllium density = 1.85 gm/ cm^3

Young's Modulus = 287 Gpa

also whats the formula to find density and Young's Modulus using the information given along with the speed of sound

Density of the beryllium, ρ = 1.85 gm/ cm3

                                           =1.85×10-3 /10-6  kg/ m3

                                           =1.85×103 kg/ m3

Young's Modulus of the material , Y =287 GPa

                                                          =287×10Pa

Calculate the speed of the sound by using the following formula:

C =√((287×109) /(1.85×103 ))

    =12.455×103 m/s

Therefore, the speed of the sound is 12.455×103 m/s
