Suppose ABC is a right triangle,

angle A is 67°, and its adjacent side b is 150m. Find its opposite side a.?

Draw the geometric diagram.

Observe the above diagram,

tan 670 = opposite side/adjacent side = BC/AC = BC/150

tan 670 = a/150

2.3556 = a/150

a = 2.3556 * 150

⇒ a = 353.377m.

Therefore, opposite side of angle A(a) is 353.377m.
