The expressions are - 5xy2 and - 4x2y

Product of two expressions = (- 5xy2)(- 4x2y)

{ Apply the formula am an = am+n }

(- 5xy2)(- 4x2y) = (- 5)(- 4)(x1+2)(y2+1)

= 20x3y3

The coefficient of product is 20.

The exponent of x in the product is 3.

The exponent of y in the product is 3.
