2x + 3 = 3x – 4

Subtract 2x from the moth sides

(2x + 3) - 2x  =  (3x – 4) - 2x

2x + 3 - 2x  =  3x – 4 - 2x

3  =  x - 4

Add '4' to each side

3 + 4  =  x - 4 + 4

7  =  x

Answer :

x  =  7
