Point-slope form line equation is y - y1 = m(x - x1), where m is slope and (x1, y1) is any point on the line.

Substitute m = -1 and (x1, y1) = (-1, 4) in the formula

y - 4 = -1 (x - (-1))

y -4 = -1 (x +1)

y -4 = -x - 1

Stanadrad form line equation is Ax + By = C

Add x to each side

x + y - 4 = -1

Add 4 to each side.

x + y = 3
