2v+3 ≤ 5v+8/4

Subtract 5v and 3 from each side.

2v+3-5v-3 ≤ 5v-5v+8/4-3

-3v ≤ 8/4-3

-3v ≤ -4/4

-3v ≤ -1

Multiply by negitive one to each side and change the symbol.

3v ≥ 1

Divide by 3 to each side.

3v/3 ≥ 1/3

v ≥ 1/3

The solution of given inequality v ≥ 1/3
