Given points say (x1,y1) = (-9,24)

(x2,y2) = (-7,20)

Standard form of a line with slope is y-y1 = m(x-x1)

m =(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m =(20-24)/(-7+9)

m = -4/2

m = -2

Line equation is y-24 = -2(x+9)

y-24 = -2x-18

Add 24 to each side.

y-24+24 = -2x-18+24

y = -2x+6

Required line equation is y = -2x+6.
