How do I calculate the height of a right angle triangle when given the base and longer side?

A right angle triangle with diagonal side length 10 units and base of 6 units is how high on its third side?

Loger side of right angle triangle is hypotenuse.

If given base and longer side of right angle traingle then we find it's height using pythagoreans theorem.

100 = 36+BC^2

100-36 = BC^2

64 = BC^2

BC = 8

Third side = 8units
