The polynomial factoring is image

b) The polynomial 9x 2 - 5x + 7

If the only factors of a polynomial are 1 and itself , then that polynomial is a prime.

A prime polynomial is one that cannot be factored into the prouduct of  two polynomials using integer values.

For example x 2 - 9 =(x - 3) (x + 3)is not a prime because it can be factored.

How ever 9x 2 - 5x + 7 is a prime.
