The area (A ) of triangle ABC is 36 square units, angle B = 30o and one side c = 8 units.

The formula for the area of Oblique Triangle :  Area = 1/2 bc sin A = 1/2 ab sin C = 1/2 ac sin B.

In this situation, we can use the formula : Area = 1/2 ac sin B

36 = 1/2 * a * 8 * sin 30o.

36 = 4a * 1/2.

36 = 2a.

a = 18 units.

The value of a = 18 units.
