A roller coaster cart of mass m = 379 kg starts
stationary at point A, where h1 = 21.3 m and
a while later is at B, where h2 = 10.5 m.
The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s^2

A roller coaster cart of mass m = 379 kg

starts stationary at point A, where h1 = 21.3 m

While later is at B, where h2 = 10.5 m.

The acceleration of gravity is g= 9.8 m/s^2

--------------------

To calculate potential energy using

PE=mg(h1-h2)

=379*9.8*(21.3-10.5)

=40113.36 J

potential energy of cart is 40113.36 J
