Definition of Exponential Function : The exponential function with base a is denoted by f( x ) = ax, where a > 0, a ≠ 1, and x is any real number.

The exponential function is f( x ) = e2.

Here base is e and its value is 2.718281828 . . . . > 0, and power 2 is not a variable and it is only constant.

The function f(x) = e2 does not contain any variable, so it is called constant function.

Therefore, the function f(x) = e2 is not an exponential function.
