I'm doing this summer class to get into the smarter class and idk because I got -2 using the y(2)-y(1)/x(2)-x(1) method but wouldn't it be no slope because they are both on the line of 7? PLEASE HELP!! Thank you! :)

x-coordinates of the points are same.

So, line is perpendicular to x -axis, and line equation is x = 7

Vertical lines slope is infinity.

Slope of the line containing these points is infinity.

Let's check the same with slope formula.

Slope = (y2 - y1 ) / (x2 - x1)

Let (x1, y1) = (7, -8) and (x2, y2) = (7, 10)

Slope, m = ( 10- (-8) ) / (7 - 7)

Slope, m = 18/ 0

Slope, m =
