Calculate the shaded region by using the formula A = π(R2 - r2), where

R = radius of the large circle = 24 meters.

r = radius of the small circle = 6 meters.

A = π * [ (24)2 - (6)2 ]

A = π * [ 576 - 36 ]

A = 540π square meters.
