Given

u=<-5,2> and v=<-2,6>

First calculate 4u

4u = 4<-5,2>

    =<4(-5),4(2)>

    =<-20,8>

Next find 3v

3v=3<-2, 6>

   =<3(-2),3(6)>

   =<-6,18>

4u+3v=<-20,8>+<-6,18>

       =<(-20-6),(8+18)>

       =<-26,26>
