Area of the right triangle, A = 289 cm²

Formula:

Area of the triangle,A =1/2 * (base) * (height

1/2 * (base) * (height) = 289.

Let base (b) = x

  Height(h) = 2x.

1/2 * x * 2x = 289

1/2(2x2) = 289

x2 = 289

x = √289

x = 17 cm

Height,2x =34 cm

The lengths of the leg is 17 cm, 34 cm
