What is the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle with leg lengths of 21 inches and 28 inches?

From the pythogeren therom

hypotenuse^2 = adjacent side^2+opposite side^2

= 21^2+28^2

= 441+ 784

= 1225

hypotenuse = sqrt1225

hypotenuse = 35 inches
