Find the length of side t in the triangle, the side is 12, the hypotenuse is 13,

Substitue the known sides into the pythagorean theorem's formula.

Hypotenuse = 13.opposite side = 12.

From the pythagorean theorem (hypotenuse)^2 = (opposite side)^2+(adjacent side)^2

169 = 144+(adjacent side)^2

169-144 = (adjacent side)^2

25 = (adjacent side)^2

adjacent side = 5

Missing siide length is 5.
