Write an equation of the asymptotes of the following hyperbola: y^2 / 16 - x^2 / 25 = 1

Compare the equation y2/16 - x2/25 = 1 with y2/a2 - x2/b2 = 1.

a2 = 16 and b2 = 25.

a = ± 4 and b = ± 5.

Here the transverse axis is vertical, the asymptotes are of the forms y = (a/b) x and y = - (a/b) x.

The asymptote equation is y = ± 4/5.
