Weight on the earth, WE =145 lb

Acceleration due to gravity on earth ,gE = 32.2 ft/s²

Acceleration due to gravity on moon ,gm = 5.3 ft/s²

Ratio of acceleration due gravity,g/gE  = 5.3/32.2=1/6.07

So Weight on the moon, Wm=(1/6.07)(WE )

                                                      =(1/6.07)(145)

                                                      = 24 lb
