Best answer

From the graph, the ellipse is horizontal.

The major axis : 2a = 10 ----> a = 5

The minor axis : 2b = 6 ----> b = 3

Center : (h, k) = (0, 0)

Horizontal ellipse : x²/a² + y²/b² = 1

Substitute a = 5 and b = 3 in the Horizontal ellipse

x²/5² + y²/3² = 1

x²/25 + y²/9 = 1

The option A is correct.
