Given the function defined by the equation f(x)= (x +1)/ (2x-3) determine (a) f(0), (b) f(-1), (c) f(3), (d) f(2x), (e) f(x+ h)

f(x)= (x +1)/ (2x-3)

(a) f(0) =(0+1) / (2×0 -3)

           =1/-3

           =-1/3

(b)f(-1) = (-1+1) / (2×-1 -3)

            = 0 / (-2-3)

            = 0  

(c) f(3) = (3+1) / ( 2×3 -3)

           = 4 / (6-3)

           = 4/3

(d) f(2x) = (2x+1) / (2×2x -3)

              = (2x+1) / (4x-3)

 

(e) f(x+h) = ((x+h)+1) / (2(x+h)-3)

                = (x+h+1) / (2x+2h-3)
